Adding Lion’s Mane mushroom extract provides unique health benefits, making it a superior choice for your daily cup of coffee.  What makes this product over-the top unlike others?  It’s an adaptogenic coffee that also possesses, Cordyceps, Chaga, Reishi, or Ashwagandha?

One of the unique features of our Lion’s Mane Coffee is that it’s an Extract Powder, distinct from a Mushroom Powder. Let’s delve into the differences.

  • 🌿 Our Mushroom Extract Powder, a key component of our Lion’s Mane Coffee, is water-soluble, which makes it more bioavailable. This means that the beneficial compounds in the mushroom are more easily absorbed by your body, providing you with more health benefits. Unlike mushroom powder, our extract doesn’t leave ‘sludge’ at the bottom of your cup at the end, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable coffee experience. This superior quality and enhanced health benefits make it excellent value for your money.
  • 🍄 Our product also contains additional natural substances with potential health benefits within the extract formula: Ashwagandha, Root Extract, Changa Extract, Cordyceps Extract, and Reishi Extract.
  • 🌱 Depending on the mushroom, a mushroom extract powder can be 5–20 times more potent than dried powder mushrooms, which increases the bioavailability and provides more medicinal effects for the money.
  • ☕ When kept dry and airtight, our powdered extracts, including our Mushroom Extract Powder, have a longer shelf life than powdered mushrooms.
  • 🧠 The extraction removes unnecessary starches and fiber, leaving the good and bioavailable fiber and starches. This process ensures that our product remains potent and effective for longer, providing excellent value for money. Rest assured that you’re getting the most out of your purchase with our products.

Organic coffee

Why is organic Coffee so Important?

Many coffee farms use pesticides. Conventional coffee farming often involves using pesticides to control pests and diseases, and some farms use herbicides to manage weeds. While certified organic coffee farms avoid synthetic pesticides and other chemicals, they use natural procedures to control pests. Conventional coffee farming frequently relies on these synthetic versions to increase yields and profits.

Why are pesticides used?

Coffee crops are susceptible to various pests and diseases, and farmers may use pesticides to protect their crops from damage and maintain yield.

What are the Types of Pesticides?

Common pesticides used in coffee farming include insecticides to kill insects, fungicides to control fungal diseases, and herbicides to manage weeds.

Conventional vs. Organic

Conventional coffee farms often use synthetic pesticides and fertilizers, while organic farms are certified to avoid them and use natural pest control methods.

What are the Potential Impacts

Pesticides used in coffee farming can have severe health and environmental impacts. It can contaminate water, harm non-targeted organisms, and disrupt ecological balance. Additionally, it can pose serious health risks to those who work with the coffee plants or consume coffee grown with pesticides. These risks include an increased risk of cancer, reproductive issues, and neurological disorders.

Choosing organic coffee can help mitigate these risks and promote a healthier lifestyle.

Roasting and pesticides

While roasting coffee can help reduce the presence of certain pesticides, it does not guarantee their complete elimination.

Deforestation

Organic farms are shade-grown and protected by large trees surrounding them. In contrast, non-organic farms are sun-grown and carve out forests to produce coffee synthetically and in volume. They offer a low-cost, inferior product while removing the larger trees that pull carbon dioxide out of the air.

US regulation

It’s important to note that the US government does not have maximum residue limits (MRLs) for pesticides used on coffee beans. This means no way to know exactly how much pesticide residue lurks on your coffee beans. The lack of regulation can lead to potentially harmful levels of pesticide residue in your daily cup of coffee, underscoring the importance of choosing organic coffee to avoid these health risks.

Coffee Ingredients Ingredients

Now that we understand the importance of coffee being organic, let’s delve into the other four ingredients:

Reishi

Experts in ancient Chinese medicine praise reishi mushrooms for their ability to: strengthen the heart’s function, increase memory, and detoxify the body.

Over time, the use of reishi mushrooms has expanded to treat a wide range of conditions, from asthma and dizziness to insomnia and irregular heartbeat.

While not all reishi mushrooms’ traditional uses are backed up by modern science, studies show they have biological effects that can benefit your health. You can eat fresh reishi mushrooms, which are also sold as a nutritional powder, dietary supplements, and tea. Each form has its benefits. Mushrooms can be incorporated into your diet, nutritional powder is convenient for adding smoothies or other foods, dietary supplements provide a concentrated dose, and tea offers a soothing way to enjoy the benefits.

Cordyceps

Cordyceps, a genus of parasitic fungi that grows on insect larvae, holds a promising potential for human health. While more research is needed to confirm its benefits, the possibilities are exciting and hopeful.

When these fungi attack their host, they replace its tissue and sprout long, slender stems that grow outside the host’s body.

For centuries, traditional Chinese medicine has used the remains of insects and fungi, including reishi mushrooms, to treat fatigue, sickness, kidney disease, and low sex drive. The mushrooms are typically dried and ground into a powder used in medicinal preparations.

The increasing popularity of supplements and products containing Cordyceps extract is a testament to their efficacy and safety. These products are generally considered safe when used as directed, and many have undergone rigorous testing to ensure their quality and purity, reassuring consumers about their health benefits.

Of the approximately 700 trusted Source species of Cordyceps discovered, two have become the focus of health research: Cordyceps sinensis, known for its potential to improve kidney function, and Cordyceps militaris, believed to have immune-boosting properties.

However, much of this research is limited to animal or lab studies, so health experts can’t conclude their effects on people. However, their potential health benefits are promising.

This article highlights six potential benefits of Cordyceps based on science, including its potential to improve kidney function, boost the immune system, and enhance athletic performance.

Ashwagandha

Generally, studies found that ashwagandha significantly reduced stress and anxiety levels, subjectively measured by validated rating scales, reducing sleeplessness and fatigue, and reducing serum cortisol levels, a stress hormone, compared with placebo.

Ashwagandha is best known for its stress-lowering effects. The medicinal herb helps lower cortisol levels, a hormone your adrenal glands produce in response to stress. More specifically, daily doses of 225–400 mg for a month have been shown to significantly lower cortisol levels.

Research suggests that ashwagandha extracts may lower stress, anxiety, and cortisol levels. A task force created by the World Federation of Societies of Biological Psychiatry and the Canadian Network for Mood and Anxiety Treatments provisionally recommends specific daily doses of ashwagandha root extract for the treatment of generalized anxiety disorder. Still, it notes that it cannot provide a stronger recommendation without more data.

Chaga

Chaga mushroom is a type of fungus commonly found on birch trees in cold climates. It’s used in folk medicine for various ailments across northern Europe. Although chaga mushrooms are edible, because of their bitter taste, most people drink them as tea.

Chaga mushroom supplements come as tablets, capsules, or powders.

The Chaga mushroom may help: boost the immune system, reduce inflammation (swelling), lower blood sugar levels, improve heart health, lower pain and inflammation, and inhibit the growth of cancer cells. (Studies have shown that chaga extract may inhibit the growth of cancer cells in vitro and animal models.)
